Powerpoint bashing

Before there were presentations, there were conversations, which were a little like presentations but used fewer bullet points, and no one had to dim the lights.

Thanks to this critical article on Design Oberserver, I came across Ian Parker’s essay from The New Yorker entitled Absolute Powerpoint: Can A Software Package Edit Our Thoughts. It predates Edward Tufte’s The Cognitive Style of Powerpoint by two years. Nice read.
